To check and see if you have the TA-082 motherboard, open the UMD door of your PSP and look in the top right. If you can see clearly "IC-1003", you have the TA-082 motherboard. If there is nothing, you have the original motherboard revision, TA-079.
or if you have a ta-086 on the back of the umd door i think that it should show IC-1006
